Overload is a browser-based RPG set in the modern day. Unlike many games, in Overload your character has very basic needs and wants that need to be periodically fulfilled (like eating and sleeping), but other than taking care of those, you're pretty much entirely free to pave your own way in game. There is no preset path, and no one direction you should take.
Overload is a very new game (development started in early April 2013, and we are still in alpha stages). The game and its underlying engine are being coded from scratch, which should mean that aspects of the game will be fairly new and exciting, even to those of you who have played other browser-based games in the past, but also means that Overload may not be as complete as some other games out there.
