DicingDangers Fantasy is a new (still in beta testing) classic high fantasy role playing game. Browser based, there are no downloads, and nothing to install.The game is a MMORPG or Massive Multi-player Role Playing Game. That means that you can interact with other players from all over the world. At present there is no PvP or player versus player combat, but it is planned for the future. The game is free to play. There are no plans to charge for the service. The game is a true role playing game rather than any turn based strategy game. You play a character in this world. As a hero or in some cases villain, you are free to roam the world, do battle with fantastic beasts, create valuable items for use by yourself or other players. The world is growing and more areas will become available in time. As a character you have certain traits. The most important of these are the main levels. Battle Level, Mage Level and Crafting Level. The higher the level, the better you are. Then your character has skills and skill levels. The higher the level, the better your character is at that skill. Skills include the use of blades, leatherworking, mining and more. The world is inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's world of Middle Earth with elves, dwarves, orcs and trolls, but the world and history are not the same. High fantasy simply would not be what it is without the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
