Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers goes gold.

October 19, 2005 - BattleBorne Entertainment announced today that Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers is officially gold. The game will now enter manufacturing for its release on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 next month.

Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers is a third-person action game set during World War II, beginning with the D-Day invasion of France when paratroopers were dropped behind enemy lines ahead of the Normandy landings to support the Allied assault on Germany's "Fortress Europe." The game uses the Snowblind Engine (Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance) and supports both single-player and two-player co-op modes.

"With several years of development and using the critically acclaimed Snowblind game engine, Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers puts players on the front lines of the most well-known battles of WWII," said BattleBorne's Chief Architect, James Kosta.
