Casting Call for Virtual Actors
Forterra Inc. (www.forterrainc.com), a world wide leader in the development and deployment of persistent, distributed, three-dimensional virtual worlds, is seeking a broad range of Virtual Actors, from diverse backgrounds, to take part in our on-going MMOG demonstration scenarios. This is an open casting call for all interested and qualified parties. Virtual Actors will be cast to play one, or more, scripted roles in a variety of scenarios ranging from Medical applications to Military training. As a Virtual Actor, you will be required to control the movements, gestures, expressions, and speak the scripted dialog, of an avatar in a 3D world as it interacts with other avatars and elements in the environment. Virtual Actors will be expected to provide their own hardware and internet connections for participation*. Qualified participants who are accepted into this program will be paid an hourly rate commensurate with their background/experience for all rehearsals and performances.
Preferred backgrounds (preferred but not required):
Acting
Military
Law Enforcement
EMT / Paramedic
Foreign Languages – especially Arabic
