First off, the raffle will be done in 13 days, so you only have 13 days left to purchase tickets. You may purchase tickets by visiting http://www.directoryofgames.com/main.php?view=contests and clicking one of the buy now buttons down at the bottom. The draw will occur on September 1, 2004 at 12:00 Noon EST. And given the fact that only 77 tickets have been sold, your odds are pretty good if you purchase 10.

As I mentioned in the previous announcement, this will be the last month of vote testing. Starting next month, the amount of votes you amass will actually mean something on this site, so do your best to promote voting as best you can. Also, next month will be the start of the winner being removed from the voting for a period of 3 months. The winner of this month won't be removed as I was still testing. They will have the opportunity to purchase the vote space if they wish to, but in the instance they turn it down, it will be put to auction. The starting bid for that space will be $200.00, so it's in your best interest to win it if you're able.

Last thing on my list is game reviews. Over the course of this month, a secret game was being reviewed, and once the reviewer fires me the actual review, it will be posted. I intend to review at least 1 game every month, sometimes more if it's possible. This is to ensure we get an indepth review of the game in question. So, be sure to look for that review when it's out.

Oh, one last thing...I'd like to congratulate the Directory of Games.com staff as we've broken the 12,000 unique visitors mark for this month, and it's most likely that we'll hit at least 20,000 uniques this month. That's about 4 times the traffic we had last month, and I hope to keep this number increasing in the future. :)
