Updates...
The majority of the Admin Panel is now finished so things may be done a hell of a lot quicker on the site by either myself or Kevin. So expect slightly quicker service. :)
I have finished the View Credit Limiter and it's entirely functional. I've tested it and such, but I'm not entirely perfect, so if you find any bugs with it, please let me know. At this point in time, you are required to set a minimum of 3.5% of the total view credits you have purchased. This means you may spread any amount of view credits over the course of a month. This should help out a lot of those games that are tight with funds as it allows them virtually a longer time for exposure rather than using all your VCs in a matter of days. The view credits are spread evenly over the course of the day, so your banner will be viewed by people throughout the day for the limit you choose to set rather than all the VCs being used up within the first few hours.
The Rank Points system is more or less ready to be launched. I intend to start using this system on the 1st of September as it allows everything to virtually start fresh. I'm contemplating resetting all the page views and passthroughs to 0 one last time as next month is technically the first real month of launch. I'll decide over the next couple day. This will be the last time those values are reset if I choose to reset them.
As most of you have likely noticed, we have our first review up on the site. More reviews will be done over the course of this month, so expect to see them soon.
The last thing on my list of things to announce is that of thanks. I thank each and every one of you that has stuck by me over the past few months and helped me to keep going. Without the support of you all, I highly doubt that this site would be here right now, so I am greatful to all that have done something/said something/listened to something over the past few months.
Anyway, Directory of Games.com is open and it's ready for any and all who want to give it a challenge. It's going to be a hell of a time. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I intend to.
